THE CHARITY SINGLE
LOVE IS THE ONLY LAW
PERFORMED BY LOVE AGAINST THE MACHINE
Eastenders Star June Brown MBE, Union J singer Jaymi Hensley, Samantha Fox and a whole host of LGBTQI+ celebrities and young people have recorded a charity single and video to mark this special anniversary. With the blessings of movie producer and former George Michael manager, Simon Napier-Bell, the songwriters were inspired to compose the lyrics for the song after attending the premiere of his movie '50 Years Legal'.
Not since Band Aid has such a supergroup of international celebrity artists and young people joined together for a charity single to support young LGBTQI+ people who are facing homelessness, living in hostile environments or experiencing abuse for simply being who they are.
We are delighted to support The Albert Kennedy Trust with this project.

LOVE AGAINST THE MACHINE
We are raising funds for the Albert Kennedy Trust.
The Albert Kennedy Trust is a voluntary organisation based in England, created in 1989 to serve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) young people who are homeless, living in a hostile environment or in housing crisis. It started in Greater Manchester in 1989 and opened in London in 1996, and expanded to Newcastle in 2013.
The Trust is named after Albert Kennedy (31 January 1973 - 30 April 1989), a 16-year-old Social Services care leaver from Manchester. He died after falling from a car park roof in Manchester city centre, while being chased by several attackers in a car. Albert was a runaway from a children's home in Salford.
